Fish Oil Advantages
It is not a superstition that a teaspoon of fish oil is useful for our health. When we are children, we might not believe that it is true when our parents or our grandparents told us to take it every day. The advancement of health technology has proved that fish oil, especially cod liver oil will bring so many benefits for us.
Not many people realize that the fish oil that is produced by the tissue of fatty or oil-rich fish will bring them so many benefits. It is since these kinds of fish such as cod, salmon, tuna, sardines, herring, mackerel, and other fish contain of a type of polyunsaturated fat called omega 3. Our body needs this kind of fat yet the body cannot produce it by itself. Thus, this kind of fat should be consumed from many food sources. If we do not want to consume the fish to get the oil, for example, cod to get the cod liver oil, then we can easily get it from the cod liver oil that we can buy in the drugstores.
There are so many advantages that can be taken from consuming fish oil; some of them are regulating the body cholesterol level so that we can prevent heart diseases, avoiding certain kind of cancers, promoting healing from injury or illness, and many more.
